TOTAL SCAM
What a scam! When I ordered my food, they said it would be 30 minutes. It’s now been an hour and a half. The app keeps ‘updating’ with later and later estimated delivery times. At this point I want to cancel my order because it’s too late snd I need to go to sleep! Not to mention, my food will be ice cold because the food was probably ready over an hour ago, but they still can’t find a delivery person for my old, cold takeaway. Of course the app won’t refund me, no matter how late the delivery. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!

Absolutely shambolic company needs to be shut down total scammers if you don't get the correct order they give refund for missing items I had a whole meal missing from kfc nearly £10 and was told no I can't have a refund and I've had numerous things missing from orders and they say the same no refund total scammers do not use have never had a problem with refunds from uber eats so suggest everyone use them

General review
I usually have decent experiences with delivery, I'm not in an overly populated area so not having any trouble finding drivers or getting my food etc. However, I see that there is a new automated system which can log complaints etc.
All I can say is this seems unfair to the restaurant complaints based on flavour need to be heard by a person, it's not our fault that you have outsourced all your work to India and Philippines, more English speaking people might work better in your favour as a company.
Before anyone tells me I'm racist, pointing out people's lack of English is not racist whats stupid is putting them on phones. So well done I guess 😃, all so you can pay them a few dollars a day. Have some pride take care of your staff.

Why even have food places that don't deliver as they are closed happened a few times now so given up on deliveroo will stick with just-eat

STILL WAITING FOR MY FOOD FROM 8PM 19/07/2022
I placed an order for fish & chips from Cods & Scollops locally. If i collect, it cost me £11.50 but i was unable to collect this time so I paid over £20.00 for the same order to be delivered. THIS ORDER NEVER ARRIVED AND I NOW HAVE TO WAIT 10 DAYS FOR MY REFUND!!! WHAT WOULD I HAVE EATEN IF THAT £20 WAS ALL I COULD AFFORD THAT DAY. TOTAL RUBBISH SERVICE BOTH THE LOCAL DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER SERVICES, WHICH IS NON EXISTENT. NEVER AGAIN

Much the same as all the comments below. terrible communication, £3 offered back for an undelivered £16. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, I had cottoned on to the fact they were having issues with the app and tried to cancel my order. So live chat didn't work, telephone didn't work and email service is pointless! They wanted a picture of the problem, I guess i should of sent a picture of nothing back?
Oh and lastly they sent me an email for my feedback, it will come as no surprise that the link doesn't work either!

Crap Company Worse Customer Service
The worst service from this company I have deleted my account due to them not letting me cancel an order 1.5 hours after I’d ordered it and then trying to deliver it 2.5 hours late. Trying to get my money back is like getting blood from a stone as they reckon giving £5 credit for food I didn’t receive off a £30 order is sufficient.
If they carry on like this I’m sure more people will stop using them and use UberEats or JustEast who are much better services.
FOOD NEVER ARRIVED…
I was on a work trip and had to order takeaway to hotel i was staying in due to late work. The food never arrived and Deliveroo declined to help offering no more than a predrafted msg. The CS staff are puppets and have no CS powers. I slept without Dinner that night!

As a restaurant owner they will rip off the customer and the resturant. They tell 2 different stories and get money from customer and money from return when an order *ks up because of their driver.

I ordered a deliveroo last weekend, didn't have much money so placed an order for KFC, just finished work. I ordered at 6 o'clock and it told me it would be with me by 6.50, i waited and waited annnnd waited, it still didn't show at 10pm, I rang kfc and they told me they had no drivers and ring deliveroo, rang deliveroo and was told its my fault for ordering, keeping in mind I didn't have much money and had to make a plan b, I said can I just have a refund... thinking the money would be sent back and I could order different food or go to the shop, they didnt send the money back.... and she informed me that it takes two weeks for a refund, so I couldn't get any food and went hungry because of deliveroo mess up! Why would it let me place an order if they had no drivers ? I still haven't had the refund, what a terrible service!

Order not delivered to disabled customer
I've given two stars because up until yesterday we at least got the orders and in reasonable time, but yesterday my father did not receive his order at all even though the driver contacted me from my dad's block of flats (requesting to be met at the main entrance).
Despite the fact that it states on every order I put through that the customer (my dad) is housebound, lives in a block of flats and cannot come down to the main entrance, we are nonetheless nearly always asked to meet the driver at the main entrance, though when it's explained to them every driver but the one yesterday has understood and brought the order up to the door of the flat.
My father largely relies on a wheelchair (which he cannot operate himself) and has dementia. He doesn't know his way around the flats as he moved there recently and his dementia prevents him memorising the layout.
If the driver had at least refused to carry the order up and cancelled the order, at least I could have organised dinner for my dad from somewhere else.
Because of his dementia, my father only informed me 2 hours later that his order never arrived, though Deliveroo showed it was delivered. The database did authorise a refund but I will not be relying on them again.

Do not order. Deliveroo late restaurants advertise on their site with no contact details. Waited 3hrs for delivery from Fat Burger and desserts cardiff and even they didn't have a contact for them!

Just avoid deliveroo at all costs. Im disabled and housebound at the moment, and so far im over £50 out of pocket because they wont refund me for missing/damaged items. Morrisons never send all my shopping and i cant afford to be out of pocket any more

If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would. placed my first order with them on Saturday and two items were missing from the order. Logged this straight away and the customer service person had to refer it to another team, couldn't sort it out themselves. I then received an email 2 days later saying a refund would be issued.......to date nothing has arrived. utterly useless and poor customer service
